The November 2017 competition is now open. We are running the final competition in this format to find the ‘best of the best’ featuring all eleven winners from 2016 and 2017.
Modern Kitchen from Cuillin Ridge Design (January 2016 winner)
Modern handless design. The ovens and fridge were models we created, and we updated the accessories. We put a view in the doors with lit appearance to help with lighting and made some changes to material settings
Mr & Mrs Heath from Capricorn Kitchens - Liverpool (March 2016 winner)
White Handleless Door with Ebony overlay panels, Bespoke made Corian breakfast bar.
New Build Mr & Mrs McMeniman from Bryson Kitchens (May 2016 winner)
The customer was looking for a two toned kitchen with a traditional look but not too crowded with bells and whistles. It was a very big kitchen and dining area and there was plenty of room for the Island in the centre. The door used was a Uform white cotton and powder blue raised panel.
Traditional In-Frame Kitchen from Unitech Oxon Ltd (September 2016 winner)
The neutral tones within the design have been chosen to compliment the original stone floor and timber features of the room.
Stone Bathroom by Sketch & Render from Sketch & Render (November 2016 winner)
Clean lines with natural stone finishes and tones, this bathroom was designed for the ultimate relaxing soak.
Handpainted in-frame Kitchen for New Build Property from Hiddleston Joiners (January 2017 winner)
Bespoke handmade kitchen in painted cabinetry. Worktops are Star Galaxy Quartz with modern appliances. Belfast sink and Quooker Fusion Tap.
Morgan from Doran Kitchens (March 2017 winner)
The client specified a painted/oak inframe mix, with a neoclassical influence. The project which is to be completed in summer of this year, is fitted over varied heights, due to the steps connecting the different levels in the kitchen. This made the design challenging, though it was a real pleasure to be commissioned to design this distinctive piece of furniture.
Converted Farm Building from Studio 10 Kitchens (May 2017 winner)
This is a Mereway Futura design using Denton X-Gloss worktops and Siemens appliances. The project was for a client that had been granted permission to convert an old farm building into a modern home, using a glue laminated frame. Ground floor was to be predominantly open plan, with the clients wanting a simple, yet modern kitchen, that didn't merely look to be dropped in the corner of the building.
Renovation from DuffyMclean (July 2017 winner)
Our client approached us with a brief to create a sophisticated multi-functional kitchen, living and dining space, to the enrichment of the entire family through their use of the space.
Dorchester - Painted Inframe Kitchen from Optiplan Kitchens (September 2017 winner)
The concept of the design is to create a practical open layout that suites the needs of the whole family. The kitchen combines elegance and functionality, blending quartz worktop and wooden flooring with stainless steel appliances. The kitchen island and dining table creates a very social space with bi-folding doors over looking the garden. The contrast between the royal blue shaker doors, oak cabinetry and the white quartz creates a great balance between traditional and contemporary.
