I resisted commenting when I saw the mention of the elusive V21.

A recent Facebook post on Articad's page has gathered some interest regarding the Blanco catalogue. Not necessarily for this catalogue in particular but a few other questions have been raised nevertheless.
Stumpy, I'll looking at you . . . lol

I knew there would be the question raised that they are dreading . . . when is V21 being released!
Sorry, I just like winding them up!
In anticipation of V21 last year my boss signed up for a 3-year package through ArtiCad so that works out at £690 spent since last year with nothing much to show.
I remember 2020 giving you list of changes with every update so you knew what was new and also telling us what to expect in their next update...It's a question of communication, we know they underestimated the work involved but we would not leave our customers clueless would we, as I think none of us would be in business for long...

That's our thought too. They can't call it support when they don't fix the problem and we are asked to wait until the new version comes out for the fix. With no timeline!
I would just like to be able to move a bedroom corner unit again.. surely not much to ask for since it worked for the past 10 years

Fixed it for you...:
Open the BASEUNIT.TXT file from the Bedroom folder in ArtiCAD in Notepad.
Find the L Shaped Corner Robe and change the attach value from 1260 to 62... the drag and drop highlight then works and you can move it..:

Oh and if you want also change the Spacemakers L Corner Robe just after it as that also has the 1260 select problem.. ;-)

Hopefully it will all work, they are claiming big things with v21. They need to get back to basic's and fix the stuff that's clearly not right. A new user interface is just a mask covering up the years old problems below! Here's hoping!

Brilliant Daz.. again. Should this also fix the problem of it not having a plinth attached?

Not too long now till KBB Birmingham, I do wonder how far in advance they will release V21 before the exhibition or whether there would be even more delays and push backs.

Maybe the blow-backs will be frustrated customers who were promised upgraded software many... many months ago (even to the point of selling their support off it), instead being given bug ridden patches to patch bug ridden patches

This is my frustration. I don't believe there has been any value for money for the support I have paid over the past 12 months. The updates have caused me more problems than solutions or benefits. I just feel anyone paying for support this year has subsidised the development of the program and will be no better off than someone who hasn't had support this year but decides to take it up once V21 comes out.
We called them before christmas about not being able to use corner units, explained our problem to them and their answer was to wait until the next patch or upgrade, never had a call back or resolution. Only down to this forum its been sorted.
Either get the updates sorted or improve the support.
