matching colours on two screens?
Thu Apr 05, 2018 12:46 pm
So my laptop screen displays colours lighter than the TV I use to present in the showroom. The TV images are looking more creamy and maybe even a tint of green?
Is there any way I can get the TV output to match my laptop?
As you can see from the attached image, even using a HDMI cable direct from one to the other looks different (even more so in real life than the photo)

Maybe the two screens have different profiles setup in windows. Right click on desktop and go to intel graphics settings. Within this you can check the colour settings or values with each screen.

You should also calibrate your screens... Ideally you have a built in option on your laptop like I have which about every 3 weeks I get a popup to run the calibration for accuracy. Then match this up with your monitor either by the way Joe says and also the monitor settings themselves.
There are few calibration and solutions with gadgets, also software like this http://www.calibrize.com/

I've had one for years and used it on many many screens haha you just have to put the license code into the machine when installing the software but it works on multiple machines -i can vouch haha
