Changing plan layouts Empty Changing plan layouts

Wed Jun 20, 2018 3:17 pm
Hi all

I pulled together a quick (ish) design based on approximate window and wall dimensions. I got the job and now want to refine the dimensions to be able to think about exact positions etc.

In the past I know trying to change the dimensions of a wall does crazy things....

I could just start again, but wonder if it's possible to do that and then copy over all of the cabinets, worktops etc?

Are there any quick solutions. Or is it just best to start again?

Thank you

Steve

If you make the new plan, then go into the old one select everything, right click and copy, then load the new plan, right click paste it will work.

(Or save the selection to a favourite)

Copy and paste only works if you do it within the same ArtiCAD window, if you load two ArtiCAD windows and then try and load the Old and the New plan in each window, you wont be able to copy from one window to another, it won't work.

Hope this helps

I would just delete all the wall elements in the same drawing and redraw them. You will keep all the drawing materials, lighting and styles etc then...
