To anyone using V20 - please read!!!

If you are still using V20, don't attempt to install any updated catalogs - anything that's been updated in the last week or so has been optimized for V21 and might not work in V20 (Uform and Multiwood are two examples of ones that don't work) and you'll end up with countless errors when trying to use one of their doors.
There should have been messages saying they were for V21, but they haven't been included.
On a side note, V21 build 30 should be out soon which will apparently bring back the speed we were used to on V20.
Oh and a few updated appliance catalogs (Neff, Bosch etc) will be released soon (£5 per month each!), they are in the final testing stage for them.

Thanks For the heads up Michael...
It does say when we click to the view the page before you add to the cart - "For your graphics to work, you need to be using the latest version of ArtiCAD's design software. Click here to go to the software download page." Not sure if it has always has mentioned this...
Like you mention it would be better if it said "FOR V21 ONLY"....

I can't say I saw that yesterday if I'm honest, although I'm used to seeing all the Axiom logo when I open the Graphics Download page, so maybe it wasn't there as it's not half cut off??!?!?
Yes, would be a lot better if they referred to V21 or just made it a little clearer.
It was my colleagues computer that was affected, he checked if there were any updates via ArtiCAD and it said there wasn't, so he went to the website and downloaded the latest cats and installed them, that's when nothing would work! Looks like v20 doesn't think v21 is an update lol

Thought this might be the case with PWS 1909 july update having an error with tall units top door not changing to RH Hinged when trying to change default frame type. Installed on v21 to check and surprise surprise same error! Lol They should delete everything and start again!! Becoming a Bloated mess!
Also is v21 still not just a public beta? Whens the official release so i can have a good laugh or cry!!

It looks like they are encouraging customers to upgrade to v21 now, seeing that they are linking to it when you go to Graphics Downloads.
To be honest, I never use the 1909 cat, as it's always been packed full of bugs (just like the product itself judging by the recent deliveries we've had ) so I just tend to use a different door and add frames.

Michael - thanks for update. £5 per month to use appliance catalogues..........unreal.
Interested to hear a bit more regarding what kind of issues you've had with the 1909 product?

I know, I was shocked when they told me! Although they did say there was going to be bundle prices too, but as it's per licence I can't see us ever getting any as we have 8...
Issues with 1909? Where do I start! Paint colours inconsistent, doors over painted, doors not finished correctly, doors turning up with wrong bead options, poor quality construction, damages, stupidly long lead times on specials, that's only for a start.
I'm not pushing 1909 any more, even though we have 2 displays in the showroom, anyone who looks like they'll be going down the in-frame route is being pushed over to Aisling or Burbidge.

Seeing as V20 is now up to build 70 at least you're nearly half way there!
