The 1st day was a bit overwhelming but I'm starting to get the hang of it now and can see how powerful it can be. I've got 6 hours of online training booked with my 1st hour this Friday. I've seen enough of what it can do to be convinced I have made the right decision.

I've also bought a smoking hot desktop PC from Palicomp that renders really well. One of the AK support guys logged on to my machine other day and ran a standard test render and said it was the fastest AK renders he had ever seen. I'll put a post and a link in the hardware section.
