ArtiCAD V21 Build 21

I'd be happy to sort out a series of videos if there are areas of interest. However deciding what is of interest is the difficult bit. Any areas you'd like me to concentrate on?

Great - something along these lines would be nice

Could do but its a little long winded.  Maybe video sections like plan creation and amendments.

I had to downloaded Snagit again last night and now have it ready to save some videos.  I've not used the mic before so not sure if I should put my horrible voice on it or just leave them as silent videos.

I hate my voice too... I say "obviously" to much for some reason, obviously.... still what's the worst that can happen eh....

Having issue on site with floor layers (screeding) and a granite firm who need to install....... pistols at 20 paces! The joys! When I'm free I'll run some short videos.

Yeah.... problems like that are the "pain" of kitchens and bedroom installations...

Has anyone else had this issue. I have a kitchen design that needs two door colours, simple right! I have a drawer unit that shows the correct colour but when producing an image it gives me two bonus colours?

Errrr, new one on me. Sorry I can't help. Maybe start a new trend and see if the manufacturers catch on?

They look set to emission on materials settings, reason for the different colours are because the value of emissions is being spread on the doors sizes... basically smaller brighter and larger surfaces darker emission (why daz made that emission calculator)

Do into the material setrings and theres a tick box "material emits light" untick that... don't quote me on the text

I turned off the programme and turned it back on again at everything was back to normal (well as normal as 21 can be). Spent a while altering the drawer unit to get it right and the boss has just said the customer wanted internal drawers. Bloody bosses!

You could try the customise option and build it up from scratch door by door? I find it easier then using the bespoke drawer packs

Tried that but because it is a handleless I had trouble. Ended up replacing the middle drawer with a filler panel. A bit of a cheat but meant I kept the rail on top.

Yea if you change the middle drawer to a filler the material changes. The drawers will prob be assigned to laminate1 and the filler assigned to door in the materials.
