Small Kitchen and bathroom views

I was told this trick at the KBB from ArtiCAD's Peter Lewis if it helps anyone then Great!
So you have a small room maybe a cloakroom or small bathroom even a small kitchen and you are struggling to get a decent view of as the angles never work. What you do is drag the left-hand menu across the screen so the plan is squished a little to the right of the screen. I don't know why but it often gives you a much better image.
Try doing a normal image, saving it then drag the menu and then do another view using the same settings and see the difference.
I know Daz etc would already know this trick but thought I'd share it with the rest of you minions. Sorry if someone has already posted this!

Neat trick, Thanks for sharing.! Always hate trying to get a good view with the camera in bathrooms. Wish articad would give more controls to the camera for types of lenses.
Unfortunately by doing this your reducing the resolution (quality) of the image as articad uses the active window as its screen resolution. For example i got a view of (752 W x 856 H) when i tried this.
You can bump the resolution up by using render to file but must remember to keep roughly the same aspect ratio for example, keep the height higher than the width. So if i change the values to 1080 wide and 1920 high you get basically the same view but with a good resolution. Hope this makes sense!
Image below was just the lowest articad setting but rendered to file at 1080 W x 1920 H Needs some Daz Highest!!!

Gosh, ArtiCAD do like to keep a lot of their functionality secret!....Nice one Stumpy! I've always taken the camera right back and then cropped the image.

Yeah good one I often reduce the ArtiCAD and TC UI windows for this reason and also when doing test renders rather than full screen or saving to disc..
You could also use the Window/New Window/Extra Window and size that to render in...
