Moved via Split - AK17 My new toy

What was taking an hour to render is 20mins, 6mins on a lower render.

Nice design and modeling all those room features!

Hi Joe, the table I made myself with blocks and the outside background, tv picture and photo frame pictures, Farrow and ball paint colours I imported but the rest is built in. I do believe you can import other 3d blocks in but I haven't been through that yet.

Thanks.... are they using the 3D Studiomax render engine though?..... they look like the standard one to me...

Lovely work Chris!  My next mission is to get V17 loaded and really crack on with the inframe side of our work.  I might be calling you for a few tips and tricks

It is nice having support that you can ring or email a quick question too and get a quick response. I think Dean said there is another update about to come out soon too.

This is an old topic but I had to comment having just bought AK17. I'm light years away from being able to do this with the software but I would be chuffed if I could get to a stage where I could do something half as good as the images in this post.

Thank you for your comments, as with most things it's practice, plenty of patience and the help of good support which I have found AK to be good at.
I look forward to see your progress as I'm sure you will soon see.

I've got my 1st hours training in the morning. I've had a real good play with the software and looked at some of the advanced features but I'm still struggling with some of the basics at the moment like selecting and moving objects. I'm sure it will all make sense after tomorrow.

Don't worry about it, they will sort you out and then you will find your way around. Enjoy!!!

Unfortunately due to a Windows 10 crash earlier this year I've not had AK installed on my machine.  Too busy with other work!  But this has given me the reason to get it back on a push it again.  Do you guys use WhatsApp or FB Messenger?  Might be worth starting a small group for AK users?
