Creating Moodboards

As we all know, the main reason for providing 3D CAD designs to clients is to help make the sale of the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom as they really help the client visualise what can be created with the room they have.
I sometimes like to add to this by creating a mini moodboard for them. This is useful for them to refer to when selecting interior accessories or textiles such as curtains or blinds, and it helps them build up a colour and texture story. I feel it also shows clients you are making the extra effort and helps with the presentation side when trying to close a sale.
I am by no means any expert on photoshop, and only able to use basic settings, however this still only took me about 20 minutes to do. The best place for Photoshop tutorials is definitely youtube.
Below is a little example of one I created for our new showroom display using photoshop. I used marketing images from our suppliers, which can be easily taken from google or the suppliers website.

Hi Guys, thought I would add another little mood board I have created this morning in Photoshop. This one is more visual than the previous one as actual suppliers and finishes have yet TBC.
I find clients find these very helpful thought for visualising their colour palette and helping them assist with choosing soft furnishings and accessories for their finished rooms.
You can get Photoshop moodboard templates for free by doing a simple google search and its really easy to add images to these! I think the 10 mins extra work these boards take to create definitely pays off when it comes to client presentation and demonstrates to the client that you are really engaging with them and their project.
