Wow!
I think it looks pretty damn incredible!
You need to stop being so over-critical of your own renders

Wow, looks great!
Please convince the customers to put the extra ovens or just one oven in the island opposite the AGA or something haha
I think it's just me but oven=aga=oven doesn't make the aga run have the classic look with the big mantle above it, would look amazing with drawers either side.
May have to turn this into a full 3D modelled CGI if I get spare time

Thanks Meepster, i know, we all do it though don't we!? I've literally spent all week on this which is not good at all, need to spend time having my material settings ready "out the box" as I spend far too long editing them.
The pilaster isn't right but my sketchup skills are not good enough to correct it and I don't have time to remodel it. Floor isn't the best either, couldn't find what I was looking for.
I agree with you about the ovens Charles, I'll speak to the client about this and see what she says. And the ovens look really blue in these renders.....
If you want me to fire the file over let me know - would love to see what you come up with!

A design like that can really take over your workload. I've had that far too often in the past, now-a-days I struggle to spend more than a day on a design, ideally I need to be working on a couple per day...
I tend to spend any spare time (whilst in work, obviously) getting textures right, scouring for better Sketchup accessories and playing around with Sketchup. It does help bring my design times down, but then every so often you get something (like the tarnished copper) that I have to spend an age trying to get right.

Fantastic work Jayne. Why do you always get the small kitchens!

Load of ways to try....
1. Reduce the Sky/Sun Saturation value... try zeroing it as this then removes any colour cast from the sky and sun... just white light.
2. Your lit appearance colours. Warm them up a bit like in PS adding a layer filter with a warm white tint Red 191, Green 190, Blue 169.
3. Materials. Your Whites on ceilings and woodwork etc... Many Whites are not actually pure white so try reducing the blue... White Emulsions some have a RGB values of Red = 240, Green = 239, Blue = 235... this will warm them up a little and look less cold/blue...
4. If you are not using better material reflections as per my calculations posted for your matt materials then these will bounce more of themselves around the room.
That should keep you busy testing for a while...
