Just a few questions....
Mon Nov 19, 2018 9:56 am
Hi Guys, i had to make a custom worktop as the client wants to run the worktop in to the window and when i drop a sink in it creates a line to the left of the sink, is there a way of removing that line?
For the larder units i am using J handle doors, is there a way of lifting a door on top to show a space between them. I tried customising but there must be a parameter in place stopping me from doing so.
Final question, client is looking for cross grained oak, anyone have good textures i can use.

The Worktop problem I think is the way it creates the cutouts... I see this often.... What version of ArtiCAD are you using Dave?
The Larders... there isn't a hidden parameter I don't think as the way the doors interface with the cabinet cause the lack of a dark shadow gap.... You could shift the grains of the doors so they do not line up or force a gap by customising the units to have a 5mm filler in-between... change the material to air or dark grey for the filler materials...
Are you making the doors yourself or buying them in.... have you got an example for what you need cross grained oak to look like?

Dave
I used your photo, removed the lighting highlights, mirrored it horizontally to make it more seamless and increased the clarity. Hope this is okay - Dropboxed it here - http://www.dropbox.com/s/bpu454u840njegk/Dave%27s%20Cross%20Grained%20Oak%20mirrored.png?dl=0
